Texture: Floury Tasting
Produces high yields of yellow tubers with a delicious flavour. Great for boiling, baking and mashing, often said to be one of the best for baking thanks to its ability to produce really big potatoes. A very good show variety too thanks to its clean, evenly sized tubers. Has good resistance to cracking. A very popular variety for many years.
Chit: 6 weeks: Plant: Mid April. Harvest: 15 weeks onwards, leave longer for bigger potatoes.
